Welcome to our new trustee

The Thames Class Lifeboat Trust are very excited to welcome a new member to the team.
Captain (Eng) Jules Morgan, Joint Managing Director of KPM-Marine brings a raft of highly relevant experience to the table.
Jules’ has designed equipment and parts for companies such as Williams Renault F1, Lotus, TVR, and more recently various vessel systems, Robotics, and Naval Architecture with the emphasis on Safety, reliability and weight saving.
Jules other notable achievements are:

  • 1 x World water speed record 1 hour 2002 (Broken by self)
  • 1 x British water speed record 1 Hour 2002 (Broken by self)
  • 3 x World water speed records 1, 2 and 3 hour – 2003 unbroken to date
  • 3 x British water speed records1, 2 and 3 hour – 2003 unbroken to date

Holding a MBA and a Bsc while working on his Phd Jules is exactly the type of person we can rely on to not only steer the project along the right path but to improve the vessel beyond belief.

KPM-Marine has donated the now world famous Predator Bilge pumping system to the trust along with an engine driven fire pump, and is keen to help out with the outfitting of Rotary service to a very high standard.

Jules will be our Engineering advisor and joins as our 4th Trustee.
